When is the best time to kayak in the Everglades? Any time is a good time kayaking in the Everglades! With that said, there are some times that are better than others.  Our  morning tours, such as our sunrise, 7:30,8:30 and sunset tours are the best for wildlife viewing, and the rivers usually have less people on them at these times as well. While convenient for people, the 1:30 trip is usually the most crowded, at the hottest part of the day, but its a still a great trip and the gators are almost always out. Besides the wildlife, the mangrove tunnels are one of the most interesting and beautiful things to experience while paddling in the Everglades.
